Brian Connor, Past-Chair of the GAI, is a Director of Brian P.Connor and Associates ltd who are Hydrogeological, Geological and Environmental Consultants in Tramore, Co. Waterford. Brian has over 40 years experience in Applied Geology and Hydrogeology and has been involved in the development of Geothermal Energy since the 1980's. His projects have varied from looking at the utilisation of geothermal energy extracted from existing water supply sources to evaluating the potential use of Energy Piles in numerous European Countries, and involvement in major, EU funded, European Geothermal Projects.

Taly Hunter-Williams is a Senior Hydrogeologist in the Groundwater Programme of the Geological Survey of Ireland. She has ten years experience in the Government sector, and her main areas of work during that time have been groundwater protection, including source protection zone mapping, and the initial and further characterisation phases of the Water Framework Directive. In the last few years, together with her colleagues,  she has been involved in re-establishing a geothermal programme in the GSI.

Monica Lee is a Senior Hydrogeologist in the Geological Survey of Ireland. Monica has worked in Groundwater Section since 1999, after completing an MSc in Groundwater Vulnerability (TCD).
