The Geothermal Resource Council is sponsoring a "World's Most Prolific Well" Contest!

The six categories in which candidate wells will be judged are:

  • Most Prolific
  • Greatest
  • Hottest
  • Deepest
  • Most Deviated
  • Cleanest

Winners will recieve complimentary tickets to attend the GRC Membership/Awards Luncheon on Wednesday October 8, from 12 - 2pm, for presentation of their awards and photograhped for publication in the GRC Bulletin.

To be eligible for consideration in the categories of Most Prolific, Greatest and Cleanest Geothermal Well, candidate wells must be in continuous, commercial production for no less han 200 of the previous 365 days.Well must meet definition of "Geothermal Well" as described in the contest rules.

For each category an award will be presented in addition to publication of photographs in the bulletin.
